Accolades For The New LiveWire Electric Motorcycle
Last month, Harley-Davidson welcomed global media including journalists from International markets to the LiveWire Media Ride in Portland, Oregon, to provide them with the opportunity to try out the bike in both a contemporary urban environment as well as more performance orientated roads.
The outcome of the media ride was phenomenal, a snap shot of accolades includes:
Bike Exif - Global
There’s a perception that LiveWire sales will make or break Harley-Davidson’s future, but I don’t think that’s true at all. Halo products exist to juice up a brand, push their engineering departments to their limits and shatter perceptions. The LiveWire has done just that and has me excited for whatever Milwaukee has in the pipeline next.
MoreBikes – UK
After a few hours on LiveWire I urge you strongly to go and try one out. It’ll blow your mind. It’s way, way better than I thought it could be and it’s one of the most purely fun motorcycles I’ve ever ridden
Motorcycle News - UK
On paper the Livewire electric motorbike may appear heavy, lacking battery range and short on power and torque, but riding it tells a different story. It accelerates with the ferocity of a superbike, sounds like a fighter jet and even throbs like a pounding heartbeat at a standstill.
It has an un-Harley-like passion for corners, is well-built, comfortable, smooth and easy to ride. It’ll keep going for longer than some sports bikes and takes an hour to fully fast-charge. It’s expensive, lacks a petrol engine’s drama and will never please the purist, but if this is the future, we’ll all have to face one day, things really won’t be so bad.
The new LiveWire is due in store in Autumn 2019 - we are taking deposits if you want to secure one of the first to arrive in the UK, please call our team in Bridgwater 01278 457652 or Bristol 0117 9588 777.
